Hi,

i have been bodybuilding for 18yrs now and I am 6'4" 260lbs 15% body fat. I have had a full lft, b-hcg, etc to make sure everything is normal. Everything came back normal except my creatinine levels the are 1.4 so the doctor told me to stop all vitiams and test again in 4 weeks, well that was friday and the result came back at 1.35. I know the normal range is 0.6 to 1.2 but I believe that if you have large amount of muscle it can cause your creatinine levels to rise.....Is this true because she wants me to go and see a specialist which I cannot get into until december....

hi, if you have been bodybuilding for some time now you probably know this already but if you take creatine, it excretes a waste product which is creatinine. This can cause you to have high levels or already worsen bad levels that you have. I havent heard anything about more muscle mass causing higher creatinine levels though. Gav
