My daughter is 8 yrs old at the end of the month, I already have a call in to the docs jsut waiting and waiting for them to call back. She has had a small like itch as she says for about a week thought nothing of it as she over exagerates allot (she had 1 doc conviced she had a liver transplant) she loves to read and learn ...

Anyways she woke up today and her tonsils are so swollen they touch the uvula and it is painful on one side, no trouble breathing but she says it hurts to swollen which is kinda a givin but it is painful on the extremity to touch and no fever her appetite is fine even gave her the pickle test even though she has all her vacc's.

I had lymphoma as a child and I dont remember my tonsils being swollen or painful but I was about her age. There is no redining of the throat tissue nor are their any white pus spots anywhere in the mouth, I am just clue less and hoped someone may have had this or may have a suggestion. The docs office may be awhile to call back and we are planning on going to patient first tonight. Anyone ...Any clue ..Any thought? I am a member by another name just cant' remember the name now.
