Q: What Do You Think?

I have been discussing things with .Lee from the admin team about this forum in particular and the community within this forum.

Now there are two issues within this forum:

a) the community - being a pregnant teen or teen parent and the whole lifestyle surrounding that aspect of your life.

(teen pregnancy and parenting - tpp)

b) serious teen pregnancy .Q&.A for those that only want answers to their questions. (tpq&a)

the idea of splitting this forum like that would be posts in the the chat/lifestyle forum would not have to be specific pregnancy questions, but you would be expected to remember this is a family board and to keep an eye on your language and to follow the fundamental rules of the forum.

The q&a would be teen pregnancy questions and answers only - that means picture posts, chat post, etc would be moved to tpp.

However, your posts wouldn't be moved the other way, if you ask a question in tpp that's upto you.

The fact the admin team are listening and thinking this over before jumping in shows you are being heard - that they are respecting you and hearing you.

.Lee drops by here now and again and see's what goes and what doesn't.

Some of you have already given me opinions on this kind of thing.

But with the agreement of admin please cast your votes.

Sensible and constructive feedback is always appreciated Smile

So is the forum going to be split?

Whoever voted no, can you explain why you dont think its a good idea? (and u suck! Lol) I dont think votes should be counted unless the person gives a reason/comment. Get voting people !

It is something that is been discussed with the admin/development team.

You see the teen pregnancy forum is supposed to be support, advice and questions about "pregnancy while a teen".

Well a lot of stuff in here isn't restricted to that.
The problem comes when either everyone in here gets annoyed because their off topic posts either have to be removed or admin get annoyed because the rules aren't followed.

So...

A compromise has been suggested. That we have .T.P.Q.A (teen pregnancy questions and answers forum) for advice and questions only. Then we have .T.P.P (tten pregnancy and parenting community forum) where you can all talk about stuff in your life since become a pregnant teen or a teen parent. Questions could be posted in tpp but may be copied to tpqa, chat topics would be removed from tpqa to tpp only.

The admin team will not rush into this. And I asked that we get your opinions on the subject.
I noticed tazzy has posted in pregnancy asking if people want a chat forum and I think the voting there was for no.
The discussion I had with lee was regards teen pregnancy only. So if you want this I suggest you get voting.
This means all the "i'm 14 and was dry humping, do you think i'm pregnant?" questions will only be in the tpqa forum. All your posts about your children, your updates, pictures etc would be in the tpp community forum.

Kia, the responses from that post were "hell yes!" for a chat forum! I really think some anon fool messed with the poll just to be annoying.

We want one! We really do! Sad

Lmao it was 64 no votes when I last checked! But yeh it would be good to have it split so parenting can be discussed more.
