Are your patches like discoloration of the skin? If they are, it could be vitiligo. It is a skin disorder that may start on penis in men and then spread to other areas of the body. Unfortunately, there is no definite cure but you better see a doctor to figure out what the patches may be.

hi meuvoreos,

two months ago I posted a message on the same topic. And just recently i've got one answer to it which may interest you.
Http://ehealthfor um.Com/health/topic70840.Html

on my post, I mentionned the connection with stress as the root of our skin problem. First, I had a really stressing work experience some years ago which could well have been the starting spark. I live in europe, and some weeks ago I had the occasion to go to a lecture by a french doctor (michel brack). The lecture was about "oxidizing stress"!!!!! He says that there are at least 200 deceases that can be attributed to oxidizing stress, among them the vitiligo. He has written a book, in french of course, that I haven't read yet. But the lecture was really really interesting. So I can only encourage you to search informations in english or your mother tongue about the oxydizing stress, because your skin problems may only be one of others. I don't say that to freak out you, but if that can help you to prevent anything, that would be great.

Coming back to the answer to my post, iamotta mentions that his/her pigment has largely came back. I started have white patches on my hands too, and it seems, but remain to be confirmed, that they have stopped to expand.

So take care of yourself, and we can keep in touch if you want.

Cheers.
