Q: ortho-tricyclen lo and hour late

I'm aware that the birth control pill should be taken at the same time each day (i'm taking ortho-tricyclen lo) but i've been a little less than and an hour and a half late, but was told that didn't count as missing a pill as I took them within the above time frames. Is that true?
