I am 17 weeks pregnant and not sure how I am suppost to feel.

I am barely showing and can't feel the baby moving I know all this is normal acording to the doctor and my early scan was fine so were my blood tests and i've heard the heartbeat but I just feel a bit weired in myself.

I thought it might help if I had some people to talk to, so if you feel like a chat about being pregnent then I would appriciate it.

I don't really think that there is a standard way to feel.. I honestly didn't feel like I was pregnant for quite some time into my pregnancy.. I didn't wanna believe that I was pregnant for the first 5 months.. My whole pregnancy I have been little... Meaning showing wise... I didn't start showing until about 6 months.. And then I just grew more and more.. I had mixed emotions when I found out I was pregnant.. I was scared.. Nervous and excited.. Nothing is more special then this little human that is inside of me..I am now considered full term.. So it shouldn't be long until my little one is born and I am more anxious and nervous then ever...

I wish you the best..And soon I am sure you will have some kind of emotions.. Keep us posted. And if you wanna chat.. Feel free to pm me!

Best of luck

Welcome! It is normal to feel kind of wierd, it is probably the hormones kicking in and not showing yet, which is not uncommon but soon you will! Plus it is your 1st pregnancy and most pregnancy's are different anyways. It is normal to go through strange feelings. We are here for you anytime you want to talk, vent or whatever you have on your mind. Have you thought of a name for your baby?
I wish you and yours the best!

Hi! first off. you should have started your own post seeing as this one is from '06
But at that poing in my pregnancy I really didn't "feel" pregnant I didn't gain any weight or anything until I was in my 8th month.. then I got HUGE! So I don't know what that's like.. But it's a normal feeling from what I hear Smile
Hope you have a happy/healthy/easy pregnancy
