The past few days I have been itching like .C.R.A.Z.Y... Mainly on my feet, hands, arms and head.. Except I don't have a rash. The last time I itched like this was when I had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics I was on, and that was a horrible rash.. This is just strange. I can't sleep at night because of it.. It seems to get worse then.

I don't know if this is connected, but since this has started i've also been really down a lot.. I cry all the time and sometimes i'm not sure why. I know pregnancy does weird things to your hormones, but this seems to be non-stop.

I read somewhere that pregnancy can make your skin itch, but if it's all the time then it could be more serious.. Should I see my midwife about it? I'm going to see her on thursday anyway, but if it's serious then maybe I should ring her sooner.

I don't know.. This pregnancy has taken such a toll on my emotions.. But i've never been this down before. I don't see how they could be symptoms of one thing, maybe it's just a coincidence.. But it's starting to worry me.

Itching? Man thats gotta be horrible. I would be frustrated too. Thats probably why your crying. You should deffinitly talk to a midwife and see if she has any ideas on why and what you can do to make it stop. I hope your midwife can help it stop..

Try a cool shower and leave yourself to dry naturaly if that doesn't work see your gp for a blood test and some anti histamines if the itching was on your abdomen then it could be cause for worry but as it is on your hands and feet it is more likely the elasticity in your skin drying it out
