I am a 63 year-old man, and I woke up at 4am so dizzy I could not get up. By 7am I was nauseated, and when trying to throw up nothing comes out and I can barely get up. My blood preassure is high now. I am not sure of what can be happening to me. Please let me know if you've experienced anything like this before. I do have high blood preassure, and take medication for it.

I am not a dr but have you talked to your dr about this? Your dr might want to increase the dosage of your medication or change the medication. You might want to start a journal or at least write everything down and as soon as the dr's office opens monday or tuesday give them a call or just call them now and if your dr is not on call, talk to the one that is on call and explain the situation and what you are taking, sometimes they call your dr or just increase your medication or might change the one medication that you are on or might tell you to go to emergeny. My blood pressure goes up do to pain and I get dizzy and nauseated, I know that sometimes when I get up kind of fast and take off fast this sometimes will happen if I stand there and count to 10 before I start to walk that it sometimes will help, but not always and for the nausea I use promethazine, which sometimes knocks me out but I also take morphine for the pain which will sometimes nauseate me. I do hope that you can get some type of help soon! But remember what works for some may not work for others.
