Knee And Leg Pain/ Tingling In Middle of the Night. ....... Posted: 10-08-06 01:51am
Wondering if anyone has a clue....
The other night I woke up with a very
restless feeling in my legs, generally my
knees. I was on my side and turned to my
back... It was hard to bend my knees
straight. It was like a feeling when you
hit your funny bone. It was painful and
tingled alot and was physically difficult
to bend my legs. I am 25. Wondering if
it may have something to do with my
scoliosis? I have 2 stable 28-ish degree
curves. I also occasionally get sleep
paralysis while lying on my back. Any
ideas would be appreciated. The feeling
went down to my feet and up above my knees
also. Well.. Thanks!!

Sounded like restless leg syndrome at
first glance, but it could be more nerve
related. If you have scoliosis i'm
assuming that there could be some pressure
somewhere on a nerve? Rls typically does
not "hurt" or cause numbness, just a
needing to stretch feeling or put pressure
on certain areas of your legs. Kinda hard
to explain. Does this feeling affect your
feet also?
