I turn my mp3 player on and sing whatever's playing. I was singing "flow" by .Sade the other day and she was smiling like crazy!

Ooh, and .Danity .Kane! "want it" and "right now" are cool with .Aly! Isn't that awesome, singing songs about kicking someone's ass and wanting to have sex?

oh, and we dance with .Ellen every day.

I sing "you are my sunshine" to my bump.. But change it to:

She always stops kicking when I sing it, as if she's soothed by it and is listening to me! =)

My first son, loved the song 'you and me' from the disney movie oliver and company. My second son loved 'hush little baby' and still does only if you hum though.
And my daughter doesnt like anything I could sing until i'm blue in the face and she wont give lol

I used to sing "inch worm" to my baby brother. It really calmed him down.

You should try a josh groban song. All of his songs are pretty mellow and peaceful, he's like a 20 something year old andrea bocelli. I heart josh groban, i'd have his babies anyday ^_^. Lol, but most of his songs are in italian? There are some good english ones though.

You guys are going to laugh but hubby used to sing xmas songs to get elisa to sleep since that is the only thing he could sing on beat/tone and he loved being with her (elisa was born in july)

and yes, hubby still sings xmas songs but now elisa tries to join in man we got one weird family!!

I usually make up songs. The sillier the better but sometimes I sing real songs too. Chu likes sexy love by ne yo and anything old. And I mean anything, sinatra, ella fitzgerald. But by far his favorite song is what a wonderful world.
