Hey yall...Well me and .Oni are sitting her chattin and I had to potty. She's in her walker so I just push her down the hall. Well !!!*.P.L.O.W*!!!! She slams into the wall. It was quiet for a split second and I went *.W.W.W.E.E.E!*. She wasn't facing me and all of a sudden she started craaaacckin up!!! This all happened within a second, *maybe*!

So now, she likes to go fast and hit the wall....It's the cat's meow to her!!!

Should I be concerned that she'll be the kid hitting her head on the wall cuz it's funny....Maybe she'll be one of those "friend" people. Oh lord, help me now!!!!!

I have no idea, but I think .Aly's just as nuts as .Oni is.

She spits her paci out, starts screaming, and then when I pick her paci up and try to give it to her, she smiles at me. Then two minutes later it's the same thing again.

Oh, and she's sticking her fingers in her eyes now.

*sigh* Rolling Eyes

<3 <3 <3 .Oni!!!

That is the reason wallkers are on the worst baby products list.
They are not safe. They also have lawsuits against them.

Anyway, when my brother was about 1 he used to run into walls and he thought it was hilarious.
She is still small though and they have a soft spot until about age 1 so I would be very careful ,she can do some serious damage to her head.

Yea I hear ya about the danger of walkers. When I was about a year old, I flipped out of mine because it got caught on the leg of a chair. Of course back then, they weren't made like they are today. I busted my mouth all up and I was a little bigger than .Oni!

I won't do it from a far distance. She even likes it if I just push and pull her with my foot! I think it's the jerking motion, but I don't wanna hurt her neck.

5 mis after I posted this she passed out in the walker. She kept dukcing in and out of sleep! It was hilarious! Of course I took pictures but I have to upload them!

I wanna change my avatar soooo bad!!! But it keeps saying all of my pictures are too big!!! Grrrr....It's starting to drive me! This pic is when she was 3 months old!!!!!

Go to image, then stretch/skew. Then on the "stretch" part (the top box) put in the % on both. Fiddle around with it until you're happy!

And if you save the file, remember to rename it so it doesn't override your original, in case it doesn't turn out how you like!

Haha .Sarah!!! Silly .Oni. What a child, that one.

I remember one halloween when my youngest sister was in her walker, someone left our basement door open &she apparently thought it would be fun to go flying down the stairs in her walker! She went allllll the way down. About 20 stairs. &.All she ended up with was a fat lip. I think my mom about had a heart attack.

When my husband was a baby he would slam himself into the screen door with his walker....Well one day his father came into the house and forgot to latch the door and he went flying out the door. He bit thru his lip and has a scar on his lip.

Not walker-related, but...

My husband was pounding on the screen door trying to scare birds when he was little. My mother in law was peeling shrimp and heard a loud thump. The screen door had opened and my husband fell down the concrete porch steps, busting his chin open. He still has the scar from that, which matches a scar his brother, dad, and granddad have.

His mom didn't eat shrimp for a full year after that happened. Rolling Eyes

I went down stairs when I was a baby in a walker too. I thought it would be fun. Ouch!

What is scary is i'm 22 and I still do things like that because it looks like it'd be fun....But hurts like hell afterwards. I'm one of those idiots I guess.

Something that is way fun, is to put a bean bag chair (one that has vinyl or leather cover and slides easy) at the top of stairs and ride down. Me and my sister used to do that for hours. It's amazing we didn't get hurt too bad.

When my sisters &.I were little, we all had those one piece footie pajamas.. &we'd slide down the stairs in them! Or on sleeping bags, hahaha. We'd have races &stuff. Carpeted stairs are fun like that. Wink

I thought it would be funny to do a flip off the stairs when I was younger (i was in gymnastics.) and I thought I would just land on the floor at the bottom or something however I landed half way down them and rolled down the rest of the stairs and I still have a scar on my leg from the carpet burn.

Ouch! I never had stairs....We were poor. But if I did, believe you me, i'd be doing the same thing.

I'm not, what you would call, a risk taker. If I hear a noise, I *don't* go to it. Ya know? Like if something is eerie to me, i'm not going to investigate.

No shrimp for a year!!! Oh man! She must have *really* been uspet!! Cuz down here, shrimp season, there's *no* days off!! Mmmm...I'm gllllaaadddd I live in .New .Orleans....We got some good ass food!!!
