Q: Am I Infected With Something?

In the begining of this year, I made a really big mistake and had unprotected with some guy, and after that I had a yeast infection, I went to the doctor and she gave me what I needed to get rid of it, and I also went for a check up and had nothing. Now since then every month I had gotten frequent yeast infections since then till now, and I never had yeast infections befor, also sometimes I may get scabbing/pealing on the outside of my vagina, I want to go for another test because if I have something (god for bid) it would show up a few months later rather than immidiatly when I did get checked, but for now I just want some advice.

But to add in, my yeast infections didn't start immidiatly when with him, my boyfriend I been on and off with for three years had just got back with eachother a month after I had sex with that other man, and me and my boyfriend now have unprotected sex all the time but he ejaculates in me, but I don't get pregnant. Could the frequent yeast infections just be from him ejaculating in me? .. But what would describe the scabbing/pealing on the outside of my vagina?

Sounds more like herpes than a yeast infection.

Go back and see your doctor again hun

Lol, ejaculation does not cause yeast infections.Yes, sounds like a sexually transmitted disease.

The scabbing might be caused by the yeast infections. Or it could be like the other ladies said, and be herpes.

Some women are prone to yeast infections. You might notice that you get them at the same time every month. The ph balance in your body is not balanced. Sometimes sex can indeed throw the ph balance off.

Don't douche. Eat lots of yogurt and go see your doctor and specifically ask to be tested for sexually transmitted diseases. If you ask for a pap smear, that is all they will give you and that doesn't test for stds. You need to ask to be tested for them.

Good luck, yeast infections suck!
