Hello,

i am a 16 year old male, and am experiencing chest pain on the left side of my chest, usually about where my heart is. It'll usually occur when I am laying in bed, and it will be a sharp pain that will get worse if I take deep breaths. Usually if I take small breaths it'll go away within 2 minutes or so.

What could this be and do I need to seek help? Thank you.

i have the same experience when I was about 20 years of age, I did consult my doctor and found out that I have lung problems(swollen lungs). I was in antibiotic for quite some time and it dissappeared. However there may be other reason for it. It is best that you talk it with your parents and have a doctor look into it.
