Could someone please give me the best advice on some treatment for sciatica I have a prolonging pain in the back of my thigh and mainly my calf every time I stand up and try to walk

The question is, do you know what is causing the sciatica? Sciatica is a symptom, not a diagnosis. Have you had an mri? I have been suffering with sciatica for 8 yrs, and there are many treatments, but they don't work for everyone. I would say you should check with your doctor before doing anything. As for the pain, I completely empathize!
