Q: Tanning & Birthcontrol

Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if it is safe to use tanning bed nude while on the birthcontrol patch? I have been going but I have been wearing my panties the whole time & today I just covered the patch up with a small towel. It wont harm me or make my chances of getting preggers rise will it?? Thank you for your help!!

Tanning beds will not harm your brith control at all, but you may notice that the area under your patch does not tan.. :p

some women notice more dark spots like freckles or 'sun spots' when they tan while using birth control, but usually this is not the norm.
