Okay, so I found out in college I was dyslexic. I am very good at reading and writing. Except I am absolutley terrible at math, even basic math like adding and subtracting I have to take longer to think about than others. Also, I can read fast but I have a hard time comprehending what I am reading and when I talk sometimes what I am thinking about what I am going to say in my head comes out backwards from my mouth. Like two words are mixed up or whatever. I have a hard time reading a clock and my lefts and rights I am always getting mixed up. My problem is I dont have insurance and have never had any sort of treatment or education on how to deal with my dyslexia and could use some advice or recommendations. Also, about the workplace. I am looking for work and found myself not applying for some jobs that I may think dyslexia might affect. So, another question is, do I let the employer know I have this during an interview or after I am hired, or how do I even mention a thing like this? I am lost at words...
