I know this is kind of off-topic, but I
have maybe a minor or maybe a serious
problem. Recently during a football game
(just me and some friends) someones knee
went into my thigh really hard - I left
and went home right after. It swelled up
to a good size, but did not bruise. I
read somewhere that if I bend my legs and
stretch the muscle, it will heal faster.
That was fine, until the day after the
accident (which is today.) it hurts more
when I do that, and now my knee pops
everytime I bend it. Is that a
coincidence or a side effect? I heard
about calcification occurring sometimes,
or some condition where nourishment does
not get to a muscle group where the
contusion has occurred. The muscle has
not swelled up too bad, its just a
noticable increase in size...This wont
create permanent damage other than some
minor scar tissue will it?
