Q: Different Wedding Plans?

Ok, I know this isn't related...But oh well.

So me and .Baron are getting married on .Cinco .De.Mayo of 07 and our wedding is going to be a little different. Tell me what you think:

i'm not going to have *any* bridesmaids as he isn't going to have any groomsmen. This is because that takes *a lot* of planning, and money for the people who would stand.

We're going to have justice of the peace come to the beautiful hall we've rented and we're going to exchange vows there. As we walk back down the aisle, we'll be greeted by all of our friends/family and the bar will "officially" be **open**!!

I wanna love ya, and treat you right!! I wanna love ya, e-very- day and e-very night!! We'll be together, with the roof right over our heads! Hay!! Sorry, .Bob's on my radio......

So we're going to have our mother's sign as witmesses and be the only one's in the wedding. My mom is going to give me away as of now. I'm still trying to find out where my dads at!!!

What yall think?

That sounds really intimate!

I only had one maid of honor, and my husband only had one groomsman. We only invited family and close friends. Smaller weddings are so much nicer, in my opinion. Bigger weddings have the flash and the "ooh ahh" factor, but really, what's the point? It's all about .Baron and .Sarah, and little .Oni!

Will you be working her into the ceremony at all? And have you thought about what kind of music you want to walk down to?

You're getting married 15 days before my anniversary! Smile Smile Smile

That's cool!!! May 20th?

Yea, .Oni's gonna be the flower girl and .Baron's .God child, .Jathan is gonna hold her hand and bring the rings down! It's gonna be *.T.O.O* cute girl!!!!!! She'll be a year old for the wedding and .Jathan will be 2!

I don't know what we're going to walk down to, but our first song is going to be .Lauryn .Hill's "nothing even matters" and "tell him". They're reaaallly awesome songs off of her miseducation of lauryn hill cd! That's mah girl!!!!! Anyways, her, mary .J, and bob are gonna be bumpin the whole time!!

I'm gonna start searching for songs to walk down too!! I'm on a mission now!!!!

May 20, 2004! We got married on our 6 year anniversary.

I walked down the aisle to "canon in d minor", but that's because .I'm a big sap and I love violins. We got married in an episcopal church, so all of the music at the reception was classical too.

Oni's going to be so cute! I hope she knows what to do with the flower petals!

Very nice picture!
I almost had a big wedding in hawaii along time ago but got gold feet! Big weddings make me nervous! My sister had one with over 400 guests, I was in it. Different strokes for different folks, as long as you are happy!

I also walked down the aisle to 'canon in d minor'.

You know what? As long as you and your partner are happy and the wedding is how you want it to be then you will make the most beautiful bride and wife, don't let anyone one push you around, it's your most treasured day and a very special one.

My wedding was a disaster, I could have wrung the necks of all hubby's relatives as I was walking down the aisle - I tell you what!

Small wedding parties are the way to go girl!! And .Cinco .De .Mayo is a great date!!
For our wedding we had my nephew and his niece, they were both like 7 or 8 at the time...But they are the only people we had in our wedding. Even if it wasn't tradition for my hubby's culture I still would have only had 2 lil ones in it.
.Oni is gonna look like such a princess!!!!!!! Even tho it's a ways away, i'm expecting pictures!!!

Everyone is aware that there is a recession. And to those lucky couples that have made the commitment to get married the challenges can be even greater. Lets face it, weddings will never go out of style. During times of financial or economic stress in this country we have actually seen an increase in people getting married. Perhaps it is the security of knowing that you will have that other person there no matter what happens. Whatever the reason, weddings will never go out of style.

What is one of the most important elements that represent that day? The elegant wedding gown, of course. Everyone wants to know what the bride will be wearing. All eyes are on her as she gets walked up the aisle. Most importantly, the photographs that are taken that day will reflect the way she felt. Those photographs will be the permanent memory that their kids, grand kids and beyond will have and see for many generations to come.

That is why no matter what budget you have for your wedding you shouldn’t skimp or push aside the importance of the wedding gown and the photographer who will capture your special day.
