O/t Babies.. What to Do??? Posted: 09-30-06 12:41pm
So on monday my cat had kittens six of
them, and one of them was born breech and
lived. But im now noticing that the
kittens back legs are deformed or
underformed, as well as the tale looks
slightly crooked and his penis may be
deformed also. He cant use the back legs
at all and just pulls himself with the
front legs. He crys everytime his mom
licks him and I dont know if it is because
he is in pain. I called the two animal
hospitals in my area that are open on the
weekends and it will cost me 150$ to have
the little guy put down. I dont even know
if putting him down is the right thing to
do because I honestly think he can make it
if there is someone that could give him
the special time and attention that he
needs for whatever is wrong. He has to
struggle against the other 5 kittens to
get a nipple so im always waking up in the
night to make sure he eats. There is an
animal welfare place I need to call on
monday when they are open, but I just dont
know what to do or what the right thing to
do it.. Grr!

usualy have on site vets of their own and
will not turn away any animal whether you
have the money to pay for treatment or not
