Hi everyone.. I suffered a disc prolapse earlier this month. I am recovering...Albeit v.V. Slowly. I get horrible pains when I sit..Especially when I drive ...Which actually precipatated the whole episode. Can anyone tell me..How long will it take to recovre from an acute episode. What should I do about driving....Am scared..It will bring it on again..Once I get back on my feet.

I am tired of resting on tummy and back for the past 4 weeks... It feels horrible. Hope I never get this again. Gp suggest take 6 weeks rest and see. Please help me. Tens and physio not really of help.
