Could This Be Stomach Cancer?
Posted: 09-29-06 16:10pm

I have a knot in my left upper abdomen below my ribs, not sure if it's my stomach or spleen this knot is on. It's causing me to bloat, have excess gas, hunger pains right after I eat, pain around the area of the knot, and I have these weird blackish/dark greenish flakes in my stool. Kinda looks like spinach or algae embedded in my stool. I have no idea what that is. I've also lost 23 lbs in the past 6 months without trying to lose it. I'm losing a steady 1 lb a week.

I have no idea if this is all related to the gall bladder issues I had (removed in march), or if it's related to my ovarian cysts, or something different all together.

Stomach cancer, or ovarian cancer that has turned to stomach cancer is my biggest fear. When I was young my cousin made me drink commercial strength bug poison and it almost ate the entire lining of my stomach. I am woried that could have come back to but me in the butt.

I am not a Dr. It sounds like you need to have some tests ran, if for no other reason just to relieve your mind and find out what is going on and tell your dr what happened. Maybe someone else might have some other answers for you here or you might want to try to ask the dr here or should I say, go to doctor question on this forum.
Keep us posted.
All the best!
