Q: Tingling Fingers/hand From the Pill?

I've noticed for the past couple of weeks that i've had some tingling (like light pins and needles) in my left hand every once in a while. Yesterday, a little while after I took my birth control pill (nordette), I started to have the tingling sensation in my pinky finger and ring finger on my left hand. It stayed there all day and night and I still have some of that sensation this afternoon. There's no pain involved, no loss of motion or anything like that. I just feel like half my hand is "asleep" all the time. It's strange.

Is this a possible side effect of birth control? I've never heard of such a thing and i'm trying to pinpoint where this possibly could be coming from. Any suggestions would be helpful!
Thanks!

I've never heard of the connection either... It could be circulatory. Probably can't hurt to ask your doctor.

You should go to the doctor. It says in the leaflet about this happening. It may mean your pill is not right for you. My mum had this happen to her and she was taken off of hers.
