My friend took hers out when she started showing and she was able to put it back in after the baby was born. How long have you had it? If you've had it for a while it shouldn't close up. You'll just have to break through the skin over the hole. It's like when you don't wear earings for a while. She didn't scar or anything. If your belly button doesn't pop out you could probably leave it in.

Hey
My friend kept hers in the whole time. It looked pretty bad once she had the baby. I'd say take it out as soon as you show.
Love,

Belly Ring
I had my belly button pierced for over a yr when I got pregnant and I took mine out right away when I was 3 wks preg. It still looks really bad now and there is like a scar or stretchmark right by it and it turned a dark tan color. So I think your at risk for a nasty lookin bellybutton either way! Lol hate to say it! The hole is still open, but believe me...I won't be letting anyone see my stomach anytime soon! Haaha
