I started noticing a little blood in semen. Soon after I noticed a little blood in urine. Went to urolgist and they performed many tests to check kidneys, bladder, and prostate. All tests came back negative and was told it was prostatitis. After awhile the blood went away for a few months. I then saw blood in semen again. No blood visiable in urine. Went back to urologist and he told me there is nothing to worry about and it should clear up on its own and I wil probably see this off and on. The question I have for anyone is have you seen this symptom. When I have a bowel movement I get a small amount of bright red blood discharging from the penis. Anyone else with prostate issues seen this? My doc says its from pressure on the prostate from the bm and not to worry but its hard not to. Thanks!

you are better off asking your doctor those questions. sounds like you need more information. you could possibly call the office and explain that you are a patient and would like to ask the doctor a couple of quick questions over the phone.
