Ok yall. I am left handed, as is my mom. Baron is right handed. My grandfather(on my dad's side) was also left handed.

Does anyone know of any excercises I could do to determine if she is left or right handed? Now, just by regular observance, she reaches for things more with her left, than her right. She plays with toys with both really.

I dangle her noonie in front of her and she grab it with her left hand and put it in her mouth.

I don't wanna get my hopes up that she's left handed, and have her turn out to be right handed.

I know there's nothing wrong with her being right handed but I would prefer her to be a lefty. Just for the pure fact that we use our right side of the brain to perform.

Brian and I are right handed and little brian is as well. Jordan uses both but 60% left!

I'm a righty. My husband *was* a lefty, but his grade school teacher made him learn to write with his right hand instead, so I guess now he's a righty? He still does lots of things with his left hand, like dealing cards and using screwdrivers.

So it's a toss-up as far as .Aly goes!

My dad's parents are, my dad is, &.I am too!
I'm hoping the baby is left handed, too.

One article I read recently stated that the babies handedness will most likely be determined by the handedness of whichever parent they spend most time with.

There are no left-handed people in my family, or my boyfriend's family, to my knowledge.. And I only have one left-handed friend, who I don't see very often anymore.. So i'm guessing my baba will most likely end up a righty.

I think it's interesting that left-handedness is more common in gay people. That means technically I should be ambidextrous Laughing

I'm a lefty, i'm a lefty! Baby daddy (*smile*) is a righty (*boo!* hahaha j/k). Chu reaches for things with his left and if you give him something in his right he changes it to his left. I'm thinking lefty, big baby!!!!!

I'm a lefty but I only eat and write with my left hand. Everything else I do with my right.

My dad and my older brother are lefties. My mom and my younger brother are righties.

I find it very strange when people point out "oh, wow, you're a lefty!" (when i'm signing a receipt or something) like it's really rare or special. Weird.

This sucks, I cant even vote, im ambidextrous I write and stuff with my right hand but I play sports and stuff with my left hand, and I can write with my left hand I just have to pay attention more

Yea, people say " are you a genius? " hahahaha...I'm like, as a matter of fact.....

I can't throw a ball *to save my life* with my left hand!! I mainly eat and write with it. My right arm is stronger, but my left hand is dominant.

I pray to the gods above that .Oni be a leftie!!!!

..Uh thanks? Hahaha.

But .I can't do anything with my right hand.
It's pretty sad. Even typing this .I can feel so much
more of a difference in my left hand. I can't even
hold an eating utensil with my right hand, lol.

Something like 10 percent of the worlds population is left handed. And something like 50 percent of people who are considered geniuses are left handed.

I thought that was interesting.

Mich i'm a righty too - so is dale and my whole family - I assume out little boy will be a righty too! I thought lefties were the minority - not on this site obviously!
