Q: Diagnosis/wild Goose Chases

Dear all,

i have been trying for some time to find what is wrong with me, and it is turning into one big wild goose chase. I have a great many symptoms, such as depression, mood swings, lack of concentration, lethargy etc. - all of which seem to be classic symptoms of just about every disorder known to man. None of the remedies I have tried so far seem to work - it's as though there's one crucial thing wrong with me that I haven't identified yet, which is stopping all my progress. Only I don't have the time, money or energy to go on using trial and error to find what it is. Can anyone suggest any disciplines that are useful for diagnosing such problems? I've tried iridology; as well as muscle testing for allergies/sensitivities and neither of those seemed to turn up anything useful. Any other ideas?

Thanks

It may be none of my business, and you may say so,but it sounds like you have a bad case of depression that may need the help of a doctor that is experienced in the fields of major depression..You see I too suffer from those same symptoms and they have a good source of medications out there that can help you! I wish you all the best!!!

Thanks for your reply. I am really trying to find a practitioner to diagnose what is wrong with me - yes I have depression but there is something else wrong, probably something specific and straightforward like a liver problem or something. I was hoping someone might know of a discipline that is good for diagnosing such things. Getting drugged up by a doctor to mask the symptoms, rather than looking to fix the cause, will only cause worse health problems in the long run. Doctors have wanted to put me on prozac for years and i've resisted. One day i'll find out what's wrong with me and prove them all wrong.

You might try to find a good contact reflexologist in your area. A lot of naturopathic doctors use this practice to find out what is specifically going on in your body to produce varied symptoms.
For years my doctors have been diagnosing me with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue... And various other problems... I went to a contact reflexologist and he worked on me. He told me that although my thyroid is working it's underactive. So he put me on some medication and i've been improving slowly but surely ever since.
