Pregnant And Sick? Any Suggestions to Feel Better? Posted: 09-25-06 08:18am
Been sick since friday , started out as a
sore throat I figured from allergies but
then ig ot a blocked nose , spent the
whole night sneezing and couldnt breathe
through my nose. Saturday my whole entire
body hurt head to toe and my head is sooo
congested sneezinf and runny nose and
sunday samet hing I got tylenol cold/flu
but all that seemed to do was take the
pain andaches away and nothing else, now
the sore throat is back and if eel like im
losing my voice, is there anything else
that actually works that you are allowed
to take when your pregnant? Its hard
being pregnant and sick and takin care of
asick 1 yr old as well lol I just wanna
feel better as soon as possible.

ahh, the dreaded pregnancy cold! I'm
sorry to say there is nothing you can take
that will take that away. Tylenol and
sudafed are about it. And we all know how
well those work.
Sore throat = gargle with salt water.
Stuffed up = hot steamy shower.

hehe thanks lovely , I cant remember the
last time I had a cold eithe rlmao I thin
prob when I was pregnant with my son
actually lol ig ot a chest infection and
couldnt take anything for it cuz they
would have given me steriod pills but that
could harm the baby, I just hate feeling
blah its bad enough being pregnant haha
then getting sick on top of it and being
supermom and superwife lol

yeah, it is hard being everything to
everyone while you are sick. Heck, it is
hard being everything to everyone when you
are well!
Take extra naps if you can.

You can take anything that says tylenol.
Like tylenol sinus any of those
will help you.

I am 29 weeks and I had what felt like
bronchitis last week. My dr called me in
an antibiotic (z-pac) and some hydrocodone
cough syrup. It helped!!! I am 100%
better now! Good luck to you!! Hope you

see I was wondering about that zpac, id
unno today my cough is congested instead
still sound like im losing my voice but eh
I dunno hopefully im getting better they
usually say if it lasts moer then 7 days
to make an appt I went through a thing of
liquid tylenol cold and flu lol that gives
me heartburn lol so helps one thing but
gives me something else , ah my chidl is
running around naked he likes to rip
diapers off lol
