Hi, im not sure if this is the place to post, but i've been looking around this forum for a while and decided to ask anyways.

I am turning 17 in 2 months and I desperately need a job for school (since im in the work program, so I get off at 12.30 pm) and to help support my mom for bills and etc.

I live in gaithersburg, maryland and am looking for a job that pays atleast $9/hr, although it's hard due to my age. If anyone has any suggestions please list some, i'd appreciate it. So far i've applied at circuit city, whole foods, etc.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, im wasn't really sure.

When applying for a job it is always nice to apply a resume with your application. I know how hard it is to get a job my boyfriend missed a week of school so he can give out resume's and fill out applications. He finally got a job at this restaurant, working as a waiter and he is bring home a decent pay check. He makes 200.00 a week plus tips. I suggest for you to do is applly to the local supermarkets, k-mart, walmart, foot locker, toy stores, tim hortons and at restaurants, even home depot but they might not hire you since you are not 18. Here in toronto they wont unless you are 18 for insurance puropses.
