Q: No Period??

I haven't had a period in about 5 years. I did have some bloodwork done and everything can back showing I was in midcycle. Since then I haven't really tried to get pregnant but now i'm thinking more and more about it! Does anyone have any advice for me as to where I should start in this process? I've already seen my regular doctor and he has referred me to a specialist so that's my next step. Has anyone else experienced this same problem of no period for this length of time and if so what did you do? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated! :d

The longest I went without a period was 2 years. A doctor put me on birth control pills. But that did not fix the problem, it just made it so I would have a period every month.

My advice would be to make sure you get tested for everything like pcos and thyroid problems, if you haven't already.
