Should I Be Worried That I Have Not Felt Lot of Movement Yet Posted: 09-23-06 12:30pm
I am about 21 weeks 3 days and I really
have not felt alot of movement....I had a
drs appt on the 20th and it took him a
long time to find the babys hb.....And he
was asking me questions about movement and
everything I am still feeling "something"
which has to be the baby moving but I cant
be a 100% sure and I am just freaking out
cause of all the problems that I have had
in recent years trying to get pregnant...
At the end of the appt he said that
everything was fine and told me to book
for a month for my next prenatal so I
guess I should not be worried right
thanks for all your help and advice

At 21 weeks, it still kinda iffy to wheter
you're feeling movements or gassiness.
There is a website that has a "kick count
chart" that can help you determine how
many times a day you feel it. Not many
people have time to do this....But if you
want to know if movement is
irregular...Call your doctor with the
results!
I'm sure things are fine!!

Yeah... This early in your pregnancy, its
hard to tell.. Trust me.
Plus, if its your first, you dont really
know what to look or feel for. Give it a
few more weeks. I didnt feel my sons
kicks or flutters til about 25-26 weeks.
I felt my daughters around 16 since shes
number 2.

Babies have their on and off moments.. At
times in the pegnancy they'll sleep more
often than not due to growth spurts.
I wouldnt worry.. Try referring to a kick
count chart. Mine for 33 weeks says to
feel 10 in 2 hours... She kicks 10 times
in about 15 minutes lol so I dont worry.
