For as far back as I can remember, I have had this weak, fatigued, anxious feeling come over me and I always run for the thermometer so I can take my temp and see what might be going on.
Usually, my temperature is 98.4 to 98.7 but whenever I get this feeling and take my temp, it's always something like 99.4 or 99.6. It never goes over the 99.6 mark (although I think maybe it did once a few years ago).
I've been to doctor after doctor, specialist after specialist and had years and years worth of tests for just about everything known. I have been told by various doctors that they are not worried about it and i've been told by various other's that some people just run "hotter" than others.
This thing has gone on for years and I don't think it's normal at all because when I have these little "low-grades", I don't feel so good. I get them intermittantly which means that my temp could go up and down several times each day for 3-4 days in a row, stay normal for a week and then start going up again. I never know when this feeling (along with a spike in temp) is going to occur and I can be working, resting, doing nothing, etc and I still get this feeling along with the temp. Also, I never drink hot or cold beverages or food before taking my temp.
Has anyone else ever experienced this before?. I am at a complete loss and desperate for answers.
Thank you so much!!, sd
