Is your friend in .Sri .Lanka as well? Abortions are illegal there and so your friend would be very unwise to attempt to have an abortion now as it would not be carried out under the proper conditions. I believe I am correct when I say that in .Sri .Lanka you can only obtain an abortion, at any stage, to save the mother's life?

Even if your friend could travel to a country in which abortion is not illegal, she would have a hard time finding someone willing to do an abortion on a healthy female who is 6 months pregnant.

Please please look after her and make sure she doesn't get an illegal abortion because it may well kill her.

By law they actually have to try and keep the fetus alive if she had a premature labour, well in canada anyways they will try to keep it alive after 20 weeks. Unfortunatly you buddy is going to end up having it but tell her adoption is available so late in the pregnancy.
