Best Friend Is In Love With Me

Hiya well I know it will be kinda hard to tell your best friend that it wont work between you especially if you dont want to loose your friendship,and especially if hes loved u for so long 8 years is a long time. You can sit him down and have a talk to him, and tell him that you have a new man, and that if your best friend really loves you. He will want to see you happy. Things like this does happen,but would you rarther wait let him think you like him and then hurt him more or tell him that it wont work it will hurt him. Oviously but it wont hurt as much. As if u kept it from him longer explain to him and tell him that it wont work in a relationship because u want to keep your frienship strong.

Thanks for your advice....Thing is I sat him down a year ago and thats why he went overseas....To get away from me. I told him that I did not want to be with him....Just friends!!
I was already with my boyfriend when he left. He's attitude is....As long as i'm happy then he is happy, but with this comes alot of hate towards me. He told me that I shouldn't even bother giving him an invite to my wedding one day cause he wont come never mind support it. I'm 22 and he has been like a brother to me....It hurts me so much.
