It wasn't your fault, girl.

When you asked your question,
did you mean an appointment for
a 4 month old baby, or 4 months pregnant?

I'm sorry, that was my fault.

I assume you mean a 4 month check-up for a baby since most pregnancy check ups are the same.

They will check height and weight like always. The baby will probably get 3 shots and 1 oral vaccination. Also they will probably talk to you about starting to add in a bit of rice cereal for the baby. Ethan had his check-up today and that is what happened.

It's just a liquid that they have to drink. I don't know why they do it that way instead of a shot. Your baby should have already had one of those! Did he not?

Well, he should have already had the first round of 3 shots and the oral vaccination. I believe they do that at 3 months. This should be the 2nd round of shots that he has.

The oral vaccination is something they do in the office, you don't have to do it. Don't worry about that.

Yeah, they are the same shots, just the 2nd round of them. I believe they do them again at 6 months also.

You're welcome.
I think my poor baby has a little fever going from the shots today. It was hard to get him to go to sleep. He would sleep until almost midnight.

Anyways, you are not supposed to get you babys vaccinatiion if he has a fever you have to wait 5-10 days after a fever before bringing baby in, the dr should never have given him shots if he has a fever.

thats not always a factor. I know alot of doctors who proceed with the shots. Especially if it was only a low grade fever

Oni has never gotten an oral vacciantion...I wish they would though!! She's like a damn pin cushion when she goes!!! At her 3 & 4 month check up they gave her 4 shots!!! At her 3 month, 3 shots...And so on and so on.

But the nurse said that this time...It'll only be like 1 or 2. Thank .God!!!

Has anyone every hear of "anal ease"?? It's a product of "fantasy lady" or "fantasy parties" and it basically numbs up the anal area so that anal sex is actually pleasurable.....But anyways....This woman told me she would rub it on her baby's legs before they got vaccinated and they wouldn't cry.

My mom used to throw "fantasy parties" so we had some. I put it on my hand and it went dead almost instantly!!

What's yalls opinions on just trying it out when the "shots day" comes around?

Sarah

Umm.. I guess it is up to you. I wouldnt personally because then you wont know what they are having an allergic reaction to. Wether it is that stuff or the shot. But if you do try it let me know.

hmm... I wonder if that's safe to use on the vagina? My stitches healed funny, and my obgyn said that I would probably tear when I have sex again. Even the exam itself hurt! I'm really nervous about having sex again now.

Do you think .I'd get a funny look if I walked into a sex shop with a newborn and asked for "anal ease"? Shocked
