I had my period the 3rd though the 5th. It was not normal. Very short and very light. On the 17th I started spotting and have now for 3 days, its been weird. I will be light for a couple hours then nothing for the rest of the night.. Its dark red and I dont understand whats going on.. I took a test and it was negetive. Could it be too soon to tell if I am pregent? Or could it be something else???

you have been bleeding for 7 days. If you are concerned about this, you should go see your doctor.

It would be too early to tell if you are pregnant, as now would be your ovulation time (depending on how long your cycle is, etc). But on average, you would be ovulating now.

If this bleeding is unusual to you, or you are bleeding more than normal, you should go see your doctor. No one can answer the question about what could be wrong - or what could be making you bleed.

Have you recently stopped taking birth control?
