Hi,
i know a 46 y/p african american lawyer with a case of untreated hypertension (bp:160/100). He recently had an isolated episode of right hand and wrist weakness when trying to open a jar. I told him to see a doctor, because I think it may be related to his hypertension, but he thinks it may just be a little carpal tunnel because of his job. I was wondering what anyone though of this.

Hi there! Your friend definetly needs to see a doctor! If he has hypertension and is having any problems, he may need to be placed on some medications. Better safe than sorry! Good luck
