Q: Concidering Tubal?

Does anyone know how soon after delivery you can have a tubal done and what's the recovery like?

Birth Control
I had a tubal 25 years ago right after my son was born. I also had a csection so I am not sure about the recovery time. I spent a week in the hospital. And as soon as the stitches were removed I was okay. If you aren't that old the dr might not do it. Wink

Thank you for answering, do you remember anything about the surgery? I did talk to the nurse at my last ob visit, and they said they could do it right after delivery. Now I want to know what the surgery is like Sad i've never had any kind of surgery or stitches.........I don't know what to expect Sad where do they cut, is it a noticable scar............?
