Q: Late Period Could This Be Pregnancy?

Hi everyone.
I stopped birth control pills about a month and a half ago. I've had unprotected sex about 4 times since I was off the pill and I still haven't gotten my period. I had some spotting for about a week and discharge. I've taken a test like 2 weeks ago and it was negative. So do you think this is effects of the pill or could I have taken the test too early? Please help! Thanks!

I would retest if I were you, using first-morning urine. A lot of pregnancy tests nowadays come in multipacks, so .I'd pick up one of those and save the extra tests for the future. I'm not sure about the effects of the pill.

Just curious... Are you trying to get pregnant?

It could just be from the pill. Sometimes it takes a while for your body to get back to normal after being on it. But like she said, test in a few days with first morning urine. &.If you don't want to get pregnant, get back on the pill or use condoms. Or both. Good luck!
