Hi everyone,
i'm new here and i've been reading some posts and some of them have helped me feel a little better! But I thought maybe posting my own could help me feel even better! Anyways, my last period was on august 11 and I can't remember the days or even around the days my husband and I had intercourse! But anyways, i'm usually pretty regular with my periods...I have about a 30 day cycle. So, I just haven't been feeling right lately. I have had cramping on my lower left abdomen and some lower back pain. Also, i've had a bit more discharge than normal. I did take a dollar store preg test on friday, but it was neg! I also had very very light brown spotting that I noticed about a week ago, and I only noticed it the one time. I didn't think anything of any of these symptoms since I know sometimes pre-menstrual symptoms can be confused with preggo symptoms, but a day or so ago I got the pain in my lower left abdomen and that is what makes me think I am pregnant. So any stories or advice for me would be great! Cross your fingers for me everyone!

Well, you're gettin' pretty late with your period, so that of course is a distinct sign that you could be pregnant, but that lower abdominal pain sounds strange to me. Have you ever been pregnant before? If you have, are the pains usual for you?
I would a) get a better quality test and try again, b)see your doctor about a blood test if you don't want to buy another test or it still comes out negative and then finally, consider asking for an ultrasound if the pain continues, whether or not you find out if you're pregnant.
I don't want to scare you, but I was just reading about tubal pregnancies the other day, and pregnancy hormones are often lower with them--so that hpt's often don't respond. The pain you're having be a bad sign. Ultrasound could tell.

Good luck! Let us know how it turns out!
