Several of you on here have had abortions. If someone came to you contemplating an abortion....What is one thing you would really want them to know about your experience that might effect their own experience?

I would want them to know that they shouldn't be scared. It really doesn't hurt physically, but for me, it hurt mentally. I don't regret it, but I will never forget that day as long as I live. It's never a decision I wanted to make, not a situation I ever wanted to be in, but I sure as hell am glad I had the choice to do so.

That it's not a decision to be rushed, it should be thought about, alongside other options and should make sure they have some support following the abortion.
