Hello,

i'm a 27 year old female who has had scalp problems for almost all of my life. Shortly after birth the doctor told my mom to rub my scalp with baby oil to remove the scales. I don't remember anything until third grade. I've had it ever since without any repreive. For 19 years I have not been able to get rid of it. I've been on otc dandruff shampoos all my life. Finally I went to the dermatologist about six months ago, and he's had me on a regimen of derma-smoothe oil, and two corticosteroids (one shampoo, one solution). They aren't working either. He did a biopsy and ruled out psoriasis. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have such thin hair and worry that i'm getting more and more bald every day. I just want my scalp to feel and look better. Thanks.
