Pills do work after 4 weeks on it.
But no it is not 100%
not even with a condom.

I get shots every three months
the depo to be exact
and I am 2 mo. preg.

I guess I'm just not fertile. I've been on the lowest dose pill they make in the USA and haven't been pregnant after 4 years.

Same here but i know it is possible if you are on the pill to still get pregnant.. Its just rare

You're protected after seven days of taking your birth control correctly, you don't need to wait two months for it to be effective.

Any time you have sex you're at risk for pregnancy, we've had posters who became pregnant while on the pill AND condoms-- that happens too.

That doesn't mean you're not fertile, it just means the pill is working effectively. It's not that common to get pregnant while on it.. I think most teenage girls who claim to be in that <1% who get pregnant probably weren't taking the pills as they should have been.

But yes, no method of contraception is 100% effective in preventing pregnancy.
