I was wondering if anyone has taken neurotin and what side effects were felt. I understand it is a drug used 4 epilepsy, but it was prescribed to my boyfriend for nerve pain. As of now he is taking 300mgs 3x a day. I have read that this drug can cause some major mood disorders,i even read that some people have attempted suicide. I am just concerned because he(we) had recently gone through a pretty tramatic event, and I don't know if prescribing this drug was a good idea. He has only been on it for a few days so far,so there really hasn't been any huge side effects yet, other than drowsiness. I do believe he may have post tramatic stress due 2 the event as well,so I am a bit concerned about this drug... ...Anyone?

Neurontin
Hi! I have been taking neurontin at high doses for almost a year now for my diabetic neuropathy in my feet/legs. With me, I notice that it makes me dizzy, sleepy and uneasy with walking. (please tell your b/f to be careful if he is driving while taking this!) anyhow, these are the only real side effect I notice. To get more indepth answers, I would suggest a google search. Good luck!
