5 inches is normal and I wouldn't worry about it so much. I have seen many penises and can tell you that between 5 and 7 is fairly common. I have seen them less than 5 inches and more than 7, but not all that often. Don't sweat it sweety!

But your feelings are very understandable and quite normal, too. All men feel self conscious about their penis, no matter what the size. Men are very competitive by nature and seem to think the bigger you are, the more manly you are. And that's just ridiculous. There will always be someone who has a bigger penis than you, no matter what size you are. And if you were a woman, there will always be someone who has larger breasts. That's just the way it is and it really doesn't matter.

As the saying goes, sex has nothing to do with the size of the penis, it's what you do with it that counts. Doing whatever pleases your partner is all that matters. I agree with diamondsz. Size really depends on the person. I have seen many extremely good looking (yet small) erections, but in the end if the guy was a good "swordsman" that's all that counted. Plus small ones are easier to suck (I can say that from experience).
