You know how I said something about brayden's thyroid test a while back? Well the last time we were at the doctor's they said if this test comes back abnormal then he'll have to see a specialists. (they have been checking this since he was newborn) well it came back abnormal, so the pediatrician called me and said that we have an appt for monday at 1:30 to see a specialists in st louis, missouri which is like 2 hours away. And that I have a prescription to pick up at the pharmacy.

This really sucks, he has to be on this medication for the rest of his life and if thats not worse enough, we have to go through a ton of medications and which ever one makes his test go down is the medicine he's gonna be on.

Bray isn't patient in cars for very long either and we have to drive 2 hours!?!? Jeez!

Aww....Poor little guy. That really sucks that he will have to take medication for the rest of his life. I hope everything goes okay during the car ride. Ethan isn't patient in the car either, unless someone is in the back seat with him.

You think they would have a better way of figuring out what medicine he needs. That's crazy!!

It's always sad when babies have medical problems. It just doesn't seem fair, they are just so tiny and innocent.

Jillian tell your friend that I said everything is okay with her baby girl. That's sad.

it is sad, my niece had a hole in her heart when she was born and was going to have to have surgery on it. It ended up closing by itself but that was so scary! I'd die if I had to go through that, I am so glad brayden wasn't a preemie or anything like that because I don't know what i'd do with myself.

I know what you mean d...I wouldn't know what do do if there was something wrong with ethan. The people that have to deal with that are so strong, I don't know if i'd be able to do it. I am actually worried about this baby because I read in american baby magazine that if you get pregnant again before 18 months there is higher chance of low birth weight and premature babies.

Hey girl,

i know we've had our disputes, but I can look past that. When someones baby is sick, drama gets tossed.

I hope .Brayden gets better! I'm sure he won't like the situation at first, but with time it'll be second nature(for the both of you)

good .Luck!

Actually thyroid problems arent as bad as they sound, if controlled with meds he can live just like anyone else and he may end up not needing those meds later on as our bodies pyhsically change every 5 years.

I do hope bray ends up being one of them lucky folk!!

I know, one of my friends, and my aunt have hypothyroidism....Sometimes to switches to hyper....
