Could I Actually Be One of the Rare Teen Cases of C.c.? Posted: 09-13-06 12:33pm
i'm a fifteen year old girl, who
has been expierencing a wide range of
colorectal cancer symptoms.
For example:
-changing bowel movements (one day I can't
go at all, others I have diaherra)
-fatigue
-constant headaches
-stool changes shape (sometimes regular,
sometimes thin, ect ect)
-bright red blood from my rectum
-painful stomach aches, and abdominal
pain
-burning feeling in stomach and throat
when I try to go to the bathroom
-almost vomiting when going to the
bathroom
-shortness of breath
-unbalanced (sometimes)
-low-grade fever
-mucus in stool
so...What do you think? Am I one of the
rare teen cases of colon cancer?
My doctor seemed concerned and is making
me do blood and stool tests. Possibly
even a colonoscopy later on.
What's your opinion?

don't play around Posted: 07-14-08 10:14am
While I am older than you, I never had a
family history of CRC. Lo and behold when
I was 38 I was diagnosed with metastatic
disease.
What I have been through over the past
year I would not wish on my worst enemy.
Do not play around, do what your doctor
tells you and if s/he does not suggest a
colonscopy ask for it! Also work on
changing your diet from now on for the
rest of your life. Have more salads, buy
organic fruit and veggies when you can.
