Hi!
I just started my pills today. I'm doing the 1 day start, not the sunday start. It says 24 hours after your period starts. I technically started more like 35 hours after it started. But i'm not going to be able to see my boyfriend for 10 more days. Am I at high risk of pregnancy if I go unprotected or am I good?:)

anyways, I was thinking of using a back-up method that wasn't a condom, just incase. Have any of you heard of vaginal contraceptive film? Could I use this along with the pill to give me a better chance of not getting pregnant (assuming that i'm ready to go without a condom)? Is this going to hurt my boyfriend if he doesn't have a condom on (the spermicide, I mean)?
Btw he's the only guy i've had sex with and vice versa. We're both std free. Just to clear that up.^_^;

You should be safe, because even women who start in the middle of their cycles are protected after 7 days. Sure, go for it with the contraceptive film; see if it works for you :) more protection is never bad; but horomone-wise you should be fully protected in 7 days.

Also, contraceptive film won't hurt the guy at all. If it's safe enough to put inside your vagina, it's safe enough to touch his penis!
