Hey girls.. Its jen. Oh how I have missed you guys but things have been pretty crazy. Casey jr. Is now 3 months old and growing so beautifly. I will show pics as soon as I can.
Well on to my story.....

For those who " know " me yall should recall that I had found out during my pregnancy that I had " hpv " ( human papilloma virus ). Well I kept getting back abnormal paps but my ob/gyn wasn't really concerned. I then found out that I had pre - cancerous cells growing on my cervix but my ob kept me on close watch. I went in 3 weeks ago I got the results of my biopsy and found out that I had cancerous tissues growing on my cervix. My doctor says that we have caught in early enough from me to fight it ( hopefully ). They are going to try and remove the cancerous cells off my cervix and if that dosen't help they will do a hysterectomy. I have about a 70% to 30% of the cancer coming back even after the hysterectomy. Im praying that it dosen't take that.

I've been a wreck because my moms' sister had cervical cancer and then had it spread threw her body eventually getting to her brain and killing her. They didn't find it untill after years of her having it but im still terrifyed.

They type of cervical cancer I belive my doctor said was adenocarsinoma. Im not sure if I spelled that right. I didn't even know that there where different " types " of cervical cancer. I thought it was just " cervical cancer ".

Well as I go threw my treatments I will keep you guys updated about my progress and what happens. You guys have been there for me so I thought I would give a heads up.

Love
jen

My mum has recently been through the same thing. She has hpv and docotr did a biopsy and said she had cin 3 which is the worst.
She has had a loop excersion (sp?) 4 weeks ago. She was fine after. A bit of bleeding but nothing too bad. We are now awaiting the results to see what the next step is but they said she has to have smears every 6 months for 5 years.

Oh wow .Jen... I hope they don't have to do a hysterectomy. As gorgeous as little .Casey jr is, .I'm sure he would love a little brother or sister someday. Hopefully the doctors can get those little bugger cells under control! I have faith that things will work out for you!
