I think it is important for women to realize that the symptoms of a heart attack or heart disease are not necessarily the same as men. The list usually made as warning signs are made for men. If you suspect a heart problem, keep going to doctors until you have had every test. I was sent home from an er because "i was the healthiest person there"said the doctor. Three days later I was having an angioplasty. I guess that is the new treatment for the allergy problems I was earlier diagnosed with (on two different doctor visits in two weeks)

ekg's and stress tests can be normal on a woman with a heart condition. I am young in good shape and I do not smoke. I have a family history of heart problems.

Coronary disease is the leading killer of women !!!
