Hi, was wondering if anyone is able to help. I execise 4-5 days a week (and have done so for past 12 months) but have recently been experiencing what can only be described as a severe 'stitch' in the upper right hand side of my abdomin when running on a treadmill. Doesnt occur on any other equipment and goes away after rest. In addition over the past couple of days my lower right ribs are sore to touch and it feels like they are bruised - im pretty sure they're not it just feels like that. Any suggestions would be sensational. Thanks for a terrific website.

Since posting the original note I have since had blood tests and an ultrasound and it turns out it is mild form of 'fatty liver'. Whilst I am not a big drinker, I do have 1-2 drinks almost every day, and struggle to lose the extra kilos I am carrying. So perhaps its time to give the drink a miss for a few weeks.
